Overview:

Bike Trac is a small GPS/GSM/GPRS/RF stolen recovery solution aimed at the bike market. There are three key elements to the biketrac product: these are, security, journey tracking and safety.

Security:

 The biketrac unit has three primary security features.

• Geo-fence: The biketrac security unit is a (recommended) 3 wire install. The 3 wires are live, earth and ignition. When the ignition is off a geo-fence is activated around the bike and when the ignition is off the fence is deactivated.
• Movement: Biketrac also has an optional movement sensor. If your bike was to be moved for more than ten seconds the owner would be alerted by text / email, once alerted you can log into a web portal and see the live and current location of your bike. The biketrac unit will transmit it's location every 60 seconds for 2 hours. At any time you can pole the unit to find its exact location.
• RF Beacon: The RF Beacon will transmit when no GPS can be found. Meaning that unlike other bike trackers, biketrac will continue to transmit if in a van, a garage or a metal container.

Journey Tracking:

 The biketrac unit can record all of your journeys for the past 3 months. All journeys can be viewed in BING maps enabling you to share new trips etc. with friends or club members.

Safety:

The site can be accessed 24/7 from any location meaning if you broke down, or if you were lost, somebody else would be able to view your location live.

If the rider is in an accident a text / email will be sent to a nominated person, friend / partner, If the rider is injured the location would be available to a third person, enabling emergency services to get to you quickly, in a situation where, people may have not otherwise known.

Text and email alerts can be sent wehen the battery level has fallen

The unit is transferable from bike to bike once purchased, it is registered to a perosn not the bike.
